Key highlights include the Interim Secretariat, High Court, trunk road networks, government housing, and planned business and institutional districts. The Land Pooling Scheme enabled farmers to become partners in building the capital.

 The proposed master plan of Capital Amaravati is a landmark greenfield capital-city project developed by the Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority (APCRDA) in collaboration with globally renowned planners like Foster + Partners.

 The Andhra Pradesh government has stated that major capital-city development works are planned to be completed by 2028.
